Big Favorites Get Us Back on Track

Today we get back on track by backing a number of very big favorites. These match ups are simply too good to pass up. We're just on the prowl for winners at this point so will happily take the disadvantageous money lines.

Unpickable Master Locks:

NYY @ Baltimore - The offense keeps on rolling. Hard not to love the Yanks right now. Big CC continues his late season push for Cy Young consideration. Take the Yankees to win (-250). Final score is 8-3. LOCK IT UP

Milwaukee @ St. Louis - Chris Carpenter to the rescue. We don't expect this game to prove too challenging for the Cards with one of their two aces on the hill. It also helps that they get to tee off on the woeful Milwaukee pitching staff. Take the Red Birds (-275) to win 6-1. LOCK IT UP

NYM @ Colorado - The Rockies also get to hand the ball to their ace tonight, Umbaldo Jiminez. The Rockies get the Pets while their Wild Card challenger draws the Phils. Who do you think has the advantage. Don't look to the Rockies to blow this opportunity to get a leg up in the WC race. The Pets are starting Tim Redding who has been surprisingly adequate recently. This game will be somewhat close but the Rocks (-285) will prevail, 5-3. LOCK IT UP

Toronto @ Texas - The Blue Jays earned the distinction of getting swept in a double header last evening by the same score in both games (5-2). This team has mailed it in. At the same time, Texas is still clawing for the Wild Card. Tommy Hunter goes tonight and he has been as steady as it gets for the Rangers starters this year. We really like the Texas offense and think they find a way to pull this one out as well. Take the Rangers (-182) to win in the Texas heat, 6-3. LOCK IT UP

Remaining Games:

Royals (+140)
Angels (+113)
Tigers (-157)
Rays (-122)
Phillies (-215)

TOMORROW MEANS COLLEGE FOOTBALL
