This is a huge game this week for the Locks. Following a lackluster Sunday in which we went 6-9, we need this game to prevent the dreaded 10-loss week. Here we go:
Indianapolis @ Miami - (Line is Colts -3) - Over the past year or so we've rapidly shifted from Colts backer to Colts basher. This is all largely the result of Indy's inability to cover any spread. They are a good team that knows how to win. They just don't know how to win by enough. This was apparent yet again last Sunday when they beat the Jags by a mere 2 points at home. So how on earth do we expect them to go to Miami and cover a 3 point spread? Easily, because the Dolphins stink. There will be plenty of spotlight shining on Peyton tonight, which has not always been a great thing. However, we think he'll shine in this match up. Reggie Wayne and Dallas Clark will be the primary recipients of Manning's aerial assault and we expect to use the word rejuvenated when referencing Joseph Addai's effort tomorrow morning. The Fins on the other hand have very little to get excited about. They will try to establish a running game to neutralize Dwight Freeney and Co's pass rush. However, we don't have much love for Ronnie Brown, in fact we don't think he should be starting ahead of Mr. Medicinal Marijuana. The pass guy will be woeful as Pennington is lame and his receiving corp even lamer. This one will stay somewhat close (it is the Colts after all) but Indy will pull away in the fourth quarter. Take the Colts (-3) to win 27-20. LOCK IT UP
