Monday MLB Action

We have opening weekend in the NFL behind us (we were 11-2 yesterday, thank you very much) and it is time to return our laser-like focus to the world of baseball. Playoff races are heating up for a few select teams and the rest are just playing out the string. That makes things particularly interesting from a betting perspective. Have no fear, there are still winners out there to be had. So here we go.

Unpickable Master Locks:

Houston @ Cincinnati - Magic Wandy Rodriguez is having quite a nice year. It has taken us nearly the entire season to believe that he is for real. He is. And the Reds offense is not. Wandy should have no trouble notching win #14 tonight. Take the Stros (-132) to win 5-2. LOCK IT UP

Oakland @ Texas - The Locks has supported the Rangers for quite some time now and it wouldn't feel right to abandon them now. They get the chance to tee off on Brett Tomko tonight in the muggy Texas heat. 16-game winner Scott Feldman tries to bring some of his road magic home to Arlington. The Athletic Supporters stink. Take the Rangers (-220) to win 6-4. LOCK IT UP

Colorado @ San Francisco - Lincecum knows how badly the Giants need this game. He's money at home and we'll put our coin behind him in a big spot any day. The Rockies are on another magical run but they didn't have any luck the last time they came to the Bay Area. Timmy boy will make sure that streak continues tonight. Take SF (-186) to win 4-2. LOCK IT UP

Remaining Games to Consider:

Cardinals (-114)
Padres (-155)
Blue Jays (+235)
Orioles (+123)
