The Picks Your Bookie Doesn't Want You to Know About

We're featuring another lightning round of college football and MLB today. We will follow up with an in-depth breakdown of many of the weekend's big college football games either this evening or early tomorrow morning. Until then, here you go:

Unpickable Master Locks - College Football:

Boise State @ Fresno State - (Line is Boise State -7.5) - I have it from one of the premier college football authorities around that he will roll all season with Boise State regardless of the spread. His thinking is that the Broncos need to throw up big blowouts to attract any attention at all from the BCS. There won't be any low-key second halves for these guys. That logic certainly makes sense to me. In fact, it makes me want to get a large women in a room and scream BRONCO! We'll start applying this Boise State Theorem this evening. Take the Broncos, give the points. BSU -7.5. LOCK IT UP

Unpickable Master Locks - MLB:

NYY @ Seatlle - AJ Burnett has got to figure this thing out one of these starts. He better be near perfect tonight because he faces King Felix. However, you're getting great value on the Yankees in this game. For that reason we say, "Go Bombers." Take the Yankees (-120) to win 5-3 in Seattle. LOCK IT UP

SF @ LA - Jonathan Sanchez has won us over and the Giants are now a very desperate team. As if they needed more motivation squaring off against the Dodgers. With Captain Swine Flu on the Hill (aka the Honorable H1N1; aka Vicente Padilla) we're surprised the G-men are dogs. We actually like that because will get paid more when they dispatch their southern rivals. Load up on San Fran (+127) to win 6-3. LOCK IT UP

LAA @ Texas - This one pains me since I've been a big Ranger supporter for a while now. However, even a Stevie Wonder can see that these guys are done. The Angels have been doing a lot of traveling (coming in from Beantown), just finished a brawl of a series with the BoSox and don't really fare terribly well in Arlington. Throw all of that out the window. The Halos are hungry to keep winning and would love to hammer the final nail in Texas' coffin. Take the Angels (-120) to beat up Tommy Hunter. Final score is 7-3. LOCK IT UP

Remaining Games to Consider:

Cardinals (-115)
Rockies (-145)
Red Sox (-140)
Tigers (+120)
