Winners from I-80 - The Road to Riches

Bringing you today's laser-like insight from the road on the way Lake Tahoe for a little R&R. The Vegas moneylines are slowly getting more and more difficult to make money on. It always happens this time of the season. Favorites become very big favorites (-160 or greater), meaning you really need to hit a high percentage of games to make money. Not to worry as we have many winners to pick from today. While we won't be including it in today's UMLs, we're very excited to take in the Red Sox/Yankee rematch following the Bronx beatdown two weeks back. RedSox Nation can't be too psyched to have Brad Penny starting the opener. On to the picks:

Unpickable Master Locks:

Texas @ Tampa Bay - There will be no shouting of TAMPA BITCHES today. Not with the mighty Rangers coming town with Kenny Powers' brother Dustin Nippert on the hill. Texas is the better team, playing better baseball with better defense and a better bullpen. How is that for analysis. Plus, the Rays are relying on Scott Kazmir who always punches me in the pants when I back him. My pants are not interested in being punched tonight. Even better, the Rangers are a considerably underdog. Take Texas (+155) to win on the road. Final score will be 6-4. LOCK IT UP

Arizona @ Houston - This one all comes down to the pitching match up. The Stros give the ball to Roy Oswalt who has absolutely dominated the DBacks during his career. On the side of the field, Arizona entrusts this game to the right arm of Yusmeiro Petit, which is kind of like entrusting Homer Simpson with guarding Dunkin Donuts. My guess is the DBacks won't have any donuts left by the third inning and Roy Munson will be looking as stuffed as a turkey on Thanksgiving. We like this one so much we're going to give the desert snakes a run and a half. Take Houston minus 1.5 runs (+105) to win easily, 7-3. LOCK IT UP

St. Louis @ San Diego - What the UMLs be without Fat Albert and Professor LaRussa. We're a bit nervous about Kyle Loshe who has not been good lately. However, the Cards will score enough runs to overcome any spazz outs young Kyle suffers from. The Cards are in full-on domination mode these days and the likes of the San Diego Padres ain't going change that. Take St. Louie (-135) to win this one 6-5. LOCK IT UP

Remaining Games:

Reds +120
Nationals +107
Phillies -190
Marlins +190
Giants +145
Dodgers -147
Mariners +110
Angels +110
Yankees -117
Twins -115
White Sox minus 1.5 +105
Tigers -140
